Hey fellow artists!!

So as I'm typing I'm trying (key word here is "trying") to get ready for Anime Iowa. That's right! I'm heading back to sell my art all the way from Chicago. I had so much fun last year that there is NO way I would pass this up. I hope that I get to see some of you! And as you might know I finished my first year at the Art Institute, so my art has improved a lot!

So yeah, I'm "Getting Ready". And OH MY GOD I can't seem to be able to sit my lazy ass down and draw!!! It's getting frustrating and Anime Iowa is only two weeks away!! I think this long summer break from college is making me not want to draw. Or it could be that I'm just in a little drawer's block... cuz I get many ideas on what to draw, but I can't seem to be able to get down and do it! I don't know. But what i do know is that I got to push myself if I'm gonna sell my art!

Sorry if you really don't want to listen to me rant. But this is also another way to know that I'm not dead! LOL Anyways, I'm gonna go draw! Talk to you fellows later!!! I hope all of your summer's are doing awesome!

Hey Yall!!!

I'm back!!! Well, sort of.. >.>

I just wanted to say to those that are watching me and everything, I'm sorry I haven't been doing anything with this account... Really I am. These are some of my excuses for not updating:

1. I was in school

2. I had to work on a whole bunch of projects

3. Love sucks (gf trouble)

4. I'm Lazy

5. I'm one of the coaches for my brother's baseball team

6. A shit load of drama

7. An rhino came into my house and played tricks on me with his elephant and giraffe friends

8. People were changing into zombies and only me, and a couple other people, had to survive by killing them and keeping ourselves hidden

9. Just cuz

10. I forgot


Well, that's most of them. The ones that are most likely true are number 7 and 8, totally. But anyways, I'm back now. and that's all that really matters, right? RIGHT!

Okay. So I'm trying to get into being a FREELANCE ARTIST. And I'm hoping that maybe you guys could offer me some help? Not quite sure on how you could help out. But if you know of someone who needs something done (artistically) I'll do it. (Depending on how far away it is to my house)

14x17:

18x24:
sketch- $10-$15
color- $20
charcoal- $25
maker- $25

I also do tshirts, cards, flyers, posters, book covers, cd covers, band logos, anything really (just ask)
OH!! I also do STORYBOARDS!! I just finished a class in the art institute that teaches you everything about it. So I know it all! (Got an A in the class!)

Yes, you read the title right. I am home!

AnimeIowa...OH...MY...GODDESS!!!!! It was such an amazing experience!!! I had one of the greatest times of my life! I never knew so many people would love my art. I am from now on going to AnimeIowa to be in the artist alley. I met so many people, whom I'm going to keep in touch with them until I get the privilege to see them again. >w<

So, because of my amazing experience I decided to join the artist alley in Acen.

Another thing that I found out that was fun, was doing commissions. I know that sounds weird but seeing the look on peoples faces when you give them that drawing they wanted is so fulfilling. Which leads me to my next announcement:

That's right people. I'm continuing the commissions. If you are interested in getting a drawing of your favorite anime or original character, I would be honored to do them for you. The only thing I ask is that you note or email me telling me what you want.

So I realize that I haven't updated anything in so long. But fear not! For I have been drawing really good things! I've even started drawing fanart (which is really hard for me cuz some of the characters are outside of my style of drawing...but I'm trying! And that's what counts!)

Well, as you can see from the title I'm going to AnimeIowa this weekend. I'm going with my cousin, :iconkeeny-kun:!!!! It's going to be soooo much fun!!! X3

Hopefully, while I'm there I can sell some of my art...or at least get people to go on my deviantart. >w<

So right now I'm doing the last of my packing. Packing takes so long for me because I always feel like I'm forgetting something...so by the end of my packing I have my whole entire room in a bag. XD

Time Goes By

HEY!!!!

So I realised that I said before that I would start featuring people for a whole week starting monday. Well as you can see it's tuesday... I couldn't really write a journal yesterday because I was at sixflags all day.
It. Was. AMAZING!!!! I haven't been to sixflags in so long! Unfortunately, I didn't get the chance to go on the new Dark Knight coaster. I wanted to so badly, but when we got there is was closed and then when we came back after a while the line was horrible!! So I didn't go on. But! I did go to the water park!! Which was really cool too!! I still went on a lot of rides and had a really fun time. And really that's all that matters. :3
So right now I am working at the library. Well I don't know if I would call it work... cuz I only do this Tues(9-12), Wed(4-7), and Thurs(9-12). And I only get paid at the very end of the whole thing. So with that said I really need to find a job. A job that pays good and that I'll like...that's gonna be hard to find. Or even just a job that I can get discounts on things that I would want. For example, Borders, Hobby Lobby, and other stores that I can't seem to think of at the moment. XD;;
Well I'm gonna go. Just wanted to do this before I forgot about it.
